Philip Mathew is quite simply a genius in his field! I suffered from very painful Avascular Necrosis as a result of Rheumatoid Arthritis and subsequent steroid usage. Philip effectively re-constructed my right wrist which included a total wrist fusion. Whilst preventing me from having the ability to carry out usual tasks ( we take for granted) I am now virtually pain free, which was the whole point! Philip is a very caring and personable consultant and I cannot speak highly enough of his expertise and professionalism. Thanks you sir!

I am a pianist and a few months ago I unfortunately broke my both wrists. Philip met me very promptly following my accident only a couple days after initial A&E assessment. Philip is an amazing professional who provided treatment and care with an incredible precision and attention to detail ensuring my wrists are healed to the best possible condition. During the treatment I appreciated most his expert knowledge and skills in hand & wrist surgery and his pragmatic and honest approach to patient's questions and expectations.

I would just like to say that the care that Mr Mathew has given me has been excellent. He has taken time to explain every step of my treatment and is very approachable. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

I couldn't ask for a better consultant than Mr matthews.. Very caring, always explains everything to me, I recently had steroid injection in my left wrist and had a bad turn on the theatre table as I'm a diabetic. And the quick thing thinking of himself and staff was amazing.. Although the injections have not worked greatly.. I am bk in his clinic in 6 weeks time.. Thank you Mr matthews.. Sarah curtis
